A week in Las Vegas

Hey Guys,

Well, I just got back from a very long week in Las Vegas. If you have never been there, it's fun, but 2 or 3 days is really enough!

My wife and I took in some shows ate at some great restaurants and of course....DID SOME BLASTIN'

This time around, I brought out the Toshiba RT9990SM. I thought from Tokyo to Vegas would be a fun trip for this radio. Who knows, maybe it will become my regular globe trotting travel blaster!

BTW, if we get any new members join up from Las Vegas, you can thank me! Especially if it's a security guard from the Riviera. I was walking in the front door with my radio in hand and blasting (wife was thrilled ) and he walked striaght up to me and asked about it. He told me he hadn't seen one in years and used to have one and missed it greatly!

Thanks guys.....Had fun and best of all, I got to spend time with my wife!

It was funny because when we were loading up the car to head out, I was carrying my radio to the car and she says "Really, your going to need that?" I said "YEP!"

When we got into the hotel, the first thing I did was find the local Vegas Rock station. Every time we were in the room, I went for the power switch and she loved it! She even admitted it was great to have a radio in the room with us

Vegas is one of those "Bucket List" things everyone should do. I have been there / performed there more times then I can count.

BUT never did it with a BLASTER and you know what....that was fun!

I still love the way people act when they see big vintage radios. Some are offended and have that "Don't even think about it" look on their face and some are like that security guard that knew what it was and it was love at first site (again).

Always fun to have these things in public.
