Congratulations! It's a great experience when one find their treasured boomboxes.

I am hunting for an Akai AJ500 with white speaker cones. The dial is way down and this AJ500 boombox looked awesome! :yes:



It's just the love of having it and remembering the good old days. :-D :-D

The woofer grilles and surrounds really complete the look of that boombox. :yes: The grid design in the LED meter window is really great too, so '80s!! :thumbsup:

You know, up until i finally got this Philips, a pictture of that very cassette pack that I saved off ebay years and years ago was
the only picture I ever found of it.


Thanks for the kind words rockers. Having the gunmetal and silver models of this is model is totally killer!

Found this a while back! I think it's my 13th Birthday. I think my parents actually paid off the layby and picked the radio up for me as part of my birthday present that year, hence it being in the background of the shot. The only shot I have of my original!
