Most US cities and towns in the Northeast go well into the 100's and 1,000's. In the South and West, it's very common to see them in the 10,000's. The numbers are usually determined by blocks and quadrants and other delineations, and usually jump by 100, per block.
So, the house number doesn't necessarily mean that it's the 11,605th house on the street. It's most likely the 11,000 block of a city sector.
My address in Orlando was 12,051, though there were only 20+/- houses on the street.
The chainsaw sculpture could help or hinder resale. But I like it.
