a new JVC RC M50 is born

Sometime I agreed a JVC RC M50 from the U.S.A. Nice he did not look any more. Many scratches and faded colour. What do. On the www. there are many pages with graffiti on the ghettoblaster.

A good friend of me is a graffiti artist. He was ready with pleasure to help me. Because I already many red blasters own it was chosen as a basic colour "RED". JVC got the painting in the company where I work.
Now Andy K. went to the work.

I was in the 80ties a "Breakdancer" and he chose a suitable motive in "OLDSKOOL STYLE".
At the back of JVC there stands the name of the break dance club.


Now, Yesterday Andy has finished and I´m started the final assembly.

I am ready tomorrow and can post the final photos here !

The plates are fastened with light glue. With some trouble they became loose.

I was born in the capital (Edinburgh, for those who got it into their heads that London held the position) but have been this close (makes gesture with thumb and forefinger) to the border on the Northumbrian side for most of my life. Fact is that everyone (including those of English birth) North of Hadrian's wall could benefit from the yes vote (he wrote, sitting on the fence in order to avoid upsetting Mr Obama who, as we all know, reads this forum and is for the no vote ).
I still have an address just along the road that affords me my voting rights and is right by a chip shop where mushroom fritters are openly sold wi' the promise o' salt 'n sauce.
Dad's Aberdonian, but we still love the old sod!


So swiftly to the JVC... That looks a million Dollars now it's reassembled. Great base colour (orange stuff is cool beyond belief - be it cars, clothing or radios), great artwork, just superb in all ways. Now I must join the queue of folk wanting M50s, when people see this beauty the values are in real danger of heading the way of other classics from the Victor Company!
