A day at the Skatepark with my Son and the 975

Hi all! A beautiful day here so I took my Son to the skate park and brought along my trusty Lasonic TRC975.The radio was a big hit and attracted many admirers. People from across the park shooting hoops were shouting "Man! Look at that big ol' Boombox!" as I walked by. :-D Anyway, here are a few various pics. Enjoy :yes:

I really enjoy the comments you get when you take your boomboxes out into the wild !

Actually, the kids were asking me to play local top 40 radio stations at first. Then, I was floored when they (10yo-17yo) asked me to put it on a local 80's music radio station and it stayed on 80s. I was very proud of them. :-O :thumbsup: I was impressed at their amazement of the condition of the box. I wasn't expecting them to notice the condition of the box.

That is awesome.....The 975 just Screams for attention and as usual, gets it!

If I didn't have one of these, I would be very jealous! :lol: :w00t: :yes:

I can almost hear David Attenborough on a nature film, "and here we've managed to catch a glimpse of the beautiful but deadly lasonic in its natural hunting grounds", run little ipods :lol:

Those kids are getting some big air too!!!
Great to see boxes out and about in their native surroundings!!!!
I have only ever brought my little Altec to the skate park with Jake.
Maybe when his foot heals up and he is up and skating again I will
Bring a biggie with me :yes:
