Hope I can get someone to answer this.

My starter went so bad it smelled like it was burning inside of it. Anyway got that replaced but now my ac won't cool. Keep in mind this is a new overhaul ac system.

Don't know if its a relay or what?

First off... is the compressor kicking on? If so, check the evaporator core. If the big tube coming out of the evaporator is cold, you have a working A/C and the problem could be a blown blend motor that's not allowing the cold air into the car. If the tube is not cold, you could have a leak in the refrigerant line.

We really need more info. ;-)

It could be as simple as a blown fuse, like fatdog said see if the compessor clutch is engaging - if you can see the compressor watch to see if the front of it is turning. If it isn't it may be a relay - or it could be low on refrigerant (leak), this will also keep the compressor clutch from engaging - or as you said a relay - or whomever worked on it for the starter problem could have knocked some wiring loose or just forgot to hook it back up. If the compressor is running see if you can find the sight glass and see if it looks like water with a very few bubbles going through it this would be normal refrigerant fill. Check the big hose if it is cold you could have a blower motor or blend control problem. if it looks foamy or empty - you are low on refrigerant - I would take it back to whomever did your A/C overhaul and have them check it out. Hard to say without troubleshooting it in person. :-/

I hope it doesn't hurt your wallet. Mine's usually like a flat tire. The avatar is from a T-shirt on sale on epay - size medium, too small for me. Good luck with the A/C.

Hi Juan,is this on your 93' Crown Vic?

Bobby Is pretty right on for figuring out if it's a fuse broke wire or just
low on refrigerant.
Good luck!!

I gotta thank my lucky stars.

This morning I decided to thoroughly look over and found one plug disconnected. I plugged it in and the ac was cooling again.

I'm gonna have a nice little talk with my mechanic.

Thanks again guys for taking some time in helping out.
