. Just remember my father was still alive back then and was visitin me to see how im goin. He use to be a military doctor and was all over the world were war conflicts were. He just lost the color of his face and sad - "damn i wish to kill all this terrorist and his families whit bare hands" . Want to forgot this moments :'-( .10 years ago today, I was at work on 1st shift... Didn't really find out what happened until a 2nd shift coworker came and told us...
I had a September 2001 Source magazine with Puffy & the Bad Boy Family on the cover... In the background was the NYC skyline with the WTC...
I had to show it to him... I said, "Those are gone?"... He basically said that "Yeah, they're not there anymore!"...
The work day was over... I caught the bus to go home and - if I remember correctly - NOBODY was on it! That was NOT normal!
I figured I'd stop at Circuit City to cop Jay-Z's 'The Blueprint' CD which was released that day, and Fabolous' CD...
There was hardly anybody in Circuit City (Willow Grove Mall... I work in Warminster)... All TV's were turned to the news...
I caught some quick glimpses of the TV but didn't stop and look at anything... I was trying to get my CD's and hop on the next bus home...
The Jay-Z CD was in stock but Fabolous got pushed back...
Got home, turned on CNN and got my 1st real look at what happened... Needless to say, that's a day I'll NEVER forget!![]()

Respect. You and I have much in common Brother. Peace be with you.Jboogie2384 said:I was amongst those helping find people in the rubble (or what was left of them :'-( ) I watched the 2nd plane take aim after it circled around to make it's mark in history. I still have the outfit and helmet I wore that day. I never washed it out of respect that I might be washing away somebody's ashes. Bodies and parts everywhere. The people that jumped and landed on the ground below, it was horrible. They felt like a pair of sweat pants when you tried to pick them up. I could go on and on. It was a team I was in that found the stewardess who's hands, feet, head where missing after the crash. The planes wheels, I could go on and on. I was there last night to see the new freedom tower. It was nice but not the Twin Towers I'm used to seeing. The damage on the surrounding buildings when the towers fell. They never showed any of that in the news. We even busted a bunch of looters because there was a Century 21 across the street with all it's windows busted out. The soot and all the paper from the towers in the street. It was past my ankle. Finding shoes with feet still in them. Even baby parts. Sorry for the Real Talk but I just think you guys should all know. It's a lot worse than what they showed. I had nightmares for a long time. The only good thing I remember where the volunteers from other states I had the pleasure of meeting.

Thanks L. Tho you couldn't help the angencies from your area did show up. We watched each others back like we all knew each other from childhood. We ate together, cried together and consoled one another when needed. It's why the call it the United States. When tragedy struck we all stood together and did what we had to do. It was a great feeling. I couldn't describe how it felt. But it was good despite the reason we where there for.Lasonic TRC-920 said:Hey Jboogie2384, reading your post sends chills down my spine.
Watching it from the West coast was hard knowing we couldn't do anything to help. I have always thought it to be absolutely amazing that humans can gain the strength to run towards a disaster like this instead of away.
Much Respect Booming Brother!
