Turns out that TRC-920 ad I found was the tip of the iceberg. Here's a bunch more

Some I found going through each paper, week by week. Their URLs aren't indexed on Google, so you have to change the date in the URL itself to pull up other issues. That got to be too time consuming, so I decided to find what I could Googling different combinations of search terms, using "site:digifind-it.com" to limit it to the site they're all on.

Descriptive: portable, cassette, stereo, recorder, radio, etc.
Makes/styles: Panasonic, Platinum, JVC, Lasonic, etc.
Models: TRC-920, RX5250, etc.

A few come up if I search the model number only, just depends on what info was in that ad, and how legible it was to the OCR process, either from bad copy or overly stylized fonts. I'm just glad New Jersey decided to scan in a bunch of their community newspapers, there are a lot of them and go back to the 60s and 70s in some cases.

Awesome finds! There is a huge stash of old newspapers at a thrift shop next to my place. Would be cool to go through for some color ads when I have time. They'd probably let them go for pennies
