That looks similar to Crown 850 or Rising 20/20 and I don't think I would give up 7 for it even though of its rarity

As rare as it is, I agree that it's probably only worth $200-$300 in used but 100% working condition. It is certainly unique looking though.Reli said:

Hahah for SX 1000 just 400 ??? Thats really funny. Last one not workin and missing parts sold for 900 on ebay.

Soooooo , in this way of thinking - you must get NIB gold Conion or NIB M90 for this amount of cash .......... Ok boxed BB40 work too. For not brand new never used- that can be just Max's silver RC550 or silver BB40.
Here is the picture of the "black" WX ( actually lot diffo on those - SX have lot better speakers for starter , they just look the same, but not weighted radio , perfect full logic decks and so on ....... )
Anyway - carton box is worth nothing ( except my kitties enjoying rippin em ) .

I disagree with point 3. Even a golden Conion is not worth more than 1800-2000$ imho. We all just saw Miguel's one sell (or did it even sell for 1000?). A befriended collector here in Berlin scored his super mint one for 600€. So even though most collectors would not let them go for less than 10k doesn't mean Bill did not get luckyredbenjoe said:

I wholeheartedly agree. I've been there and had some of those NIB RT-S933s and Pioneers and they just tunr out to be completely useless. Who would display a carton on a shelf? I mean it is cool to have it but I do not really see the point of paying a few hundred dollars more to get one with the box.However, I am crossing my fingers for Bill. IF the clue with the 4 speakers is not correct and it is in fact a three-way-system, I would say he bought Ira's new BB40 from Korea. If not, it just has to be a mint M90 which would be a wiser investment imo

I think I saw it on ebay tonight, so I guess it didnt sell last time. Is that tape all over the bottom? Not usually an attractive selling point. Whatever Bill bought, I hope it is not held together with tape.

Ok just checked tracking number and Monday is the day. I was told it will probably take 2 hours to unpack it . It was shipped as oversized box so I know it's packed great. Counting down the days baby
