The equipment used to make this isn't worth no where close to $5 grand  . Radio alone is only about $80-$100!!! Speakers about $150 because they're components from Bazooka! All that other "eye candy" a few bucks at radio shack  . No stereo separation what so ever with the tweeters sitting in the middle like that. Crap to me. Wood from a Home Depot a few dollars give or take. Sounds like a guy with a whole lotta time on his hands. Maybe a retiree :hoveround:

Everyones own art/craftmanship/time is worth more to them than to anyone else. He might have 5000 in his own design + time + materials into it, but that's only of value to him unless your a well known artist or something. I'd think he'll be lucky to get a couple hundred. I think putting a big BIN like that just scares people off from offering anything reasonable. Just have an open auction and let it go for what the market sets it at, or don't sell it because it's not worth as much to anyone else.

Reminds me of the people on Pawn Stars that ask huge money for something they made in their basement that only would mean a lot them.

This dude is F'n :weed:

I mean...I understand how much work went into it, but when you are working on your own project like this, your hourly wage becomes $0.00.
