I Am Legend
that was a weird auction -
and then the free shipping will cost twice as much as the final sale --
a lose // lose for the seller

with luck - the zero feedback winner wont pay ! :-D

Sometimes I think it's done to intimidate other bidders. Other times, I think it's just an idiot bidder.

I've noticed that some collectors bid in $50 increments - even $100 increments. :-O

Did you say "increment" or "excrement?"

I can't imagine bidding like that... :agree:

It seems to me like it all depends on what it is ultimately. I believe that on eBay you can actually set the bid increments and some auctions I've seen everything from a penny to what the 'Dog said, fifty bucks or more being required for every bid increase. :-)

The higher the auction goes the more the minimum bid goes up. That's why it started to go up first .50 then to $1. But like Bobby said they use it to intimidate buyers that don't actually check bid activity

Reserve price wasn't reached so no sale.

Strange bidding activity, was the (911 feedback) bidder shill bidding on a friends auction?

I had to remove a bidder from my DISCO M70 because he was just driving the bids up with no intention of following through. I noticed he had 33 retractions in a 12 month period so I msgd him to verify his intent in writing & he bailed on me, giving excuses & empty justifications, so I cancelled his bid & blocked him on my block list, so some shills are not in on it, just crack-heads who want to muck it up & never intend to follow through.

to be fair its not the most awesome sanyo model in the world, and i guess as the price only got to what it did has some bearing on that, but the silly amount of bid values on it is just plain silly
