Personally, the best looking boomboxes are the ones with 4 speakers, like the Sharp GF-777.

Some sort of box is on the top of my wishlist, and I'd like to figure out what modes are available with that kind of design.

My current list is:

- Sharp GF-777(z)
- Sharp GF-767
- Toshiba RT-S983 BomBeat WX-1
- Disco Lite
- Emerson CTR-965

Can you guys help me expand the list? :-)

Crown CSC-300 / Crown CSC-350 - these two combine the four speakers look with the speakers on top look
Pioneer SK-900 / SK-909 - extremely nice sounding unit, super high quality!

The Crown CSC-350 looks great! Thanks for the additions!

The Sanyo dachshund box is one of the finest 4 speaker boomboxes  .

I would also not really include the ones with passive radiators like the Crowns or the Pioneers. The WX-1 also only has two active woofers.

I am still on my quest to accquire all big Sharp 4-speaker boxes
GF-767, GF-777, GF-909, GF919, GF-999, GF-1000

On a side note I would also include the Toyota EA900 which is a GF909 clone and the two Discolite versions

I have this and the Mini Disco Lite version of this. They sound pretty decent. I also have the Vela NON Disco Lite as well it's the 7777! It's all F'd up tho. Might be parting it out soon.

It's about the look, so I think passive radiators are welcome

Also, I think you're on a quest to acquire everything  And you're doing well

Seriously though, this little box has tons of bass for its size, so I can kinda see where they were coming from.
