3D printing from Bredgeo

My 2nd Big Ben is missing a function knob.

I sent an original to Bredgeo and he printed a couple up for me.

That's cool, but yeah I think it was cast, you can see bubbles at the end of the shaft.
I'm curious about the material, Is it a brittle plastic that you can sand, or is it softer?

A cast you think? Well I guess the best person to answer that is Bredgeo. I'm just happy to have another complete set.
The plastic can be sanded. I'll post pictures when it's painted.

It is simple resin, molding resin... as strong as, if not stronger, than most of the plastics used (especially the VZ sliders!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Dr DER... make sure you use the most expensive material for the 3D printer and the smallest possible bit/nozzle you have, if not the repos are fictional but have no esthetic.
