About 2 weeks ago I received a jvc 550 from badboybill in good working order...But you guy know me by now just can't leave well enough alone :lol: ..So I began by taking this classic all apart but just couldn't decide on a color I wanted this to be a little brighter than the original color....So after going through about 15 cans of color that I have acquired I came across the original m90 that I got from blu fuzz...so after a good shot of primer I shot this with the color..I painted the massive speaker ring with silver and sprayed all the grills with black...Then used a flat clear on everything...Now with everthing dry I put it all back together today...I'm pleased with the results. a quick polish of all the plastic made this project even better ...here are the pics

Great job Jimmy, it looks like brand new. I really want one of these, if I get one from the US its going to have to come home via Brooklyn :-D

OK, so that's a nice looking, split new one in the pictures. Now show us the used one that you painted please. ;-) ;-)

Terrific work man, it really does look better than factory fresh, IMHO. :drool:
