Thanks guys it feels great to get a partially to non working unit looking ugly and trash bound and transforming it to a fully working shelf queen

By the way I have been jamming to tapes for 2 days now and the 9v motor is going strong. I'm going to buy a 12v cw soon just for back up If anyone has an extra please let me know. Thanks

Anyway, I've got a complete deck out of a 1977 JVC RC-727 (12V box). I'm not sure if they are the same deck but they were made around the same time.

It's got a nice pinch roller too that hasn't gone hard.

You can have what ever parts you need:

There is a hole in the 2nd photo. If you insert a small, flat screwdriver, you can turn the screw left and right. Is that the one for the speed adjustment?
