great buy bill -

reminds me of this mega-beastly 1994 SLP FIREHAWK option --
it had a much bigger intake & exhaust system --
bought it brand new -- special factory order --

took it to the local track - beat EVERYTHING in its class

it sounded like 22 kabooms -- but MUCH deeper :w00t:

That's cool Ira, so that was yours?
--------------------

thanks bill -
not my photo - but mine was 100% identical to that --

must say --even though this 94 was not a 60s muscle car -
it could totally WIPE ANY & ALL of those pigs --
including my awesome 67 427 tri-power vette-

and the firehawk actually had a few nifty thingies like
steering , like traction and like BRAKES

Awsome ride and awsome score!

Ira...

My dream car is a 67' Vette with side exhaust, solo cap aluminum wheels with Firestone Redlines, headrest option, Muncie M22 "Rock Crusher" four speed gearbox, and discs all around. And it needs to be a convertible.

So how bout that $500K loan?

Yeah this one has traction control, corvette suspension all sorts of stuff. I will post what it actually has when I get her home  the Firehawk was definetly rare. I only saw a few of them when they first came out. The guy that sold me Trans am sold the 67 Camaro to a guy while I was there and told both of us the TA would leave camaro in dust and camaro has 427 big block too. He said TA even chirps tires in 2nd gear, and it's an automatic :-D

my firehawk was a 5-speed manual -

we have no serious hills in south florida -
and i never yanked a boat with it -
so first gear was useless :-D :-)
it chirped in 2nd and 3rd --anytime :w00t:

Ira I can chirp a chevette with 4 speed in all gears  Manual transmissions you control clutch and engine RPM's so chirping in all gears is easy ;-). But with a stock automatic with no stall and shifting kit that's pretty incredible to get 2nd to chirp :-D
