my cousin found this sears box, still has the tag on it...$199.95. goodness.
anyone know AKA's for this box??
if anyone is interested in it just pm me. line in, radio is good, tape dead (i think motor).

Nice box, they are very good for what they are.
That was made by Sanyo and they had several versions but the closest to the Sears is probably the 9940, the 9930 has a darker color scheme.

Yep, definitely a Sanyo AKA. Wow... $199? That must have been late '70s or really early '80s. By 1983, my Sanyo M9935 was only $130.

They are actually surprisingly good sounding too, especially when you consider this is a smaller mid size box that was in the lower half of the model range.

the sears is definitely lower end than the sanyo, only FM and AM. It actually is a really nice sounding box. Pretty too imo.
