1983 Toshiba RT-200S boombox find

Here's my 1983 Toshiba RT-200S boombox find from from a garage sale.
I paid $8.00 for it. It is very clean, minimal marks if any, cassette deck doesnt spin.
Made in Japan

That is a good looking box at any price. I like the sound too. A very nice find!

I had one of those......Loved all the chrome and the directional tape indicators.
No bass, but still a loud box.

WOW Robb, that is minty fresh, like it came out of the box an hour ago!

I have the same radio, albeit not as nice as yours. Mine is missing a knob and a few switch covers and is dinged to shiat, but works! I got it at a garage sale too, $15

I remember drooling over that in a department store catalog book. The store didn't carry it but said they would order it for Me. I believe it was in 1983. I distinctly recall those speaker grills.

I picked up one of these today locally for $30.00...in SUPER nice condition like yours. I actually bought this one to put in my sons room...i love the looks of this one. I never saw a nice 200S in person until today
