I was wondering if anyone has more details on the power output of Crown CSC 950. How does it compare to other models in its class and other boomboxes?

heute bekam ich ein crown csc 950 l als ich ihn aus packte dachte ich wo hat der denn gestanden im sandkasten ???? :lol: er war voller Sand,und der lautstärke regler ist leider überdreht :thumbsdown: nun dachte ich ach egal der hat nur 24 euro gekostet eigendlich wollte ich ihn so lassen aber...

wie ich schon sagte ein oder 2 blaster werden sich ändern wie immer der nordmende steht zum kauf aber nur weil ich ein crown csc 950 bekomme die wohnung wird sonst zu klein wenn ich jede box auf hebe natürlich werden nicht alle wieder verkauft wie z.b. der csc 970 oder gf 777 :-)...

The left FM radio channel is almost dead. Switch to mono doesen't help. everything else (tape, phono, AM radio) works fine on both speakers. The stereo LED don't turn on, even with strong signals. any ideas? Anybody got the schematics or a service manual? thank you guys! sxcexcsx

I don't have the exact dimensions, but here it is compared to Crown 950.. I got a pic somwhere, it's lil bigger than the SCR-8.. ;-)

Ok im done, very happy with the end results. I had a few mistakes along the way such as paint going inside the box and onto the back of the tuner glass but i guess its all a learning curve. This will not be to everybodys taste, but what the hey. The Crown 950 Shades of Rust. ENJOY.

...ill start by saying i am looking for a sony 580 mint if possible and speakers for a fisher 480, i have the main unit. parts units that i have a sharp 8585 crown 950 i also have a mint 810 main that needs speakers, still in bag with accesories and cassette. lets make it FUN :thumbsup: :hmmm:

Thanks for the comments guys! yeh i thought i might aswell get it out in the sunshine looks awesome with all the flashy chrome bits its made to be out in the sun :). i haven't got many other boomers to compare it to but i put it alongside my TRC-920 and they are the same size and i would assume...

Hey guys just got home from picking up my latest boomer from the post office, a beautiful Crown 950 courtesy of Tony (stormsven), thanks alot man! it arrived in a masssiveee box almost twice the size of the Crown itself wrapped in its own weight of bubble wrap etc so i was glad to see it safely...

but you need still the csc 850.980 and 970 :hmmm: then the family completeI had all have been there, :-/ but now only the 850,950,960 and of course the 970 :thumbsup:
