The 5500 is built like a tank. The 5350 is an empty shell in comparison. While it's not going to compete with a JVC M70, it's still a very clear, accurate sounding radio.

There's people that make straps for boxes themself. Only a few have points to hook up straps ( M70 , M80......) If no points to hook up the belt you can attach the belt to the carry handle

It's not going to be easy to source the chrome strip or the metal panel around the power button . As far as the crack in the corner it's not that bad and could be repaired and the top re painted . The m90s I've had eventually had issues with the function switches causing sound to not come...
