Hello, new here how hard is it to open the box and replace the antenna (single)? I think it is a 2nd generation 931 ?? Thanks in advance

It's not hard at all to remove the back cover. Just be careful when you pull the back cover to look at where the wires are plugged in. Should only be 3 wires . if you unplug the antenna wire then you can simply tilt the back out of the way .

Thank you floyd ,cracked her open yesterday, highly appreciate the info the wires you mentioned were there. Ordered an antenna today off of ebay. Inside the box was cleaner than I had expected. I'm getting a lot of static/ noise from volume knob and EQ slides, bought a can of deoxit.

Thank you floyd ,cracked her open yesterday, highly appreciate the info the wires you mentioned were there. Ordered an antenna today off of ebay. Inside the box was cleaner than I had expected. I'm getting a lot of static/ noise from volume knob and EQ slides, bought a can of deoxit.
You will have to remove the boards to gain access to the pots and switches. The board where the volume pot is you have to remove the plastic cling on the front of the box because the volume pot has a nut on it similar to the nuts on a shaft mount car stereo. This nut has to be removed in order to be able to pull the board out enough to get to the volume pot.
