One point about those tape doors, they've been changed to light smoke instead of dark, so you can see your tapes better
I liked the dark doors more , but if i can get hold of one i will make them dark. 5 minutes work

I've preordered my place in the queue but had a question regarding European availability. When it's available, will it ship from the US or China, or even a European warehouse? I'm fully expecting custom charges but I can't let this box pass me by.

Another thing , products sold in the EU come with 2 year warranty . How about that for the BB-777 ?

Excellent. I think if you guys could put the "Metal" symbol on both of the tape deck doors it would be a nice touch. I realize that it won't have metal tape selection to record but it should be able to play metal tapes just fine. It that correct? I still have plenty of metal tapes from years ago.
You are right about the metal logo. It will play metal tapes just fine . Maybe you will have to lower the treble a bit but that depends on you taste of sound

I've put myself down for one of these via prelaunch.
Fairly sure I've been promised a discounted price.
Hoping shipping to the UK is possible :)
Same. I guess we'll have to wait for updates. A cheaper pre-order price could help with the high shipping and customs fees that will probably be involved. I'm still hoping they can send UK orders from Asia to help with this.

I'm excited about having this machine and hoping it has DJ Tech vibes x10. Obviously won't be as portable but I will put this thing through the paces if it lives up to the hype. They nailed the look. If I could pick a vintage style for a new tech blaster, it would be the M70 for the size and style. I use my DJ Tech everywhere but she's tired.
I like my DJ Tech a lot, but somehow left it out on the patio on the gazebo table for a couple weeks in the summer, got faded, and the particle board swole up in the back. Still works great but I felt like an idiot when I finally realized what I did.

Anybody else noticing that the promo model they've been showing all the pics with has OG style chrome knobs/switches, however all the newest production pics shows them all as cheap looking silver painted knobs/switches?????

Really hoping they didn't cheap out and ditched the chrome....

I agree Trippy. I hope the accountants don't get a chance to redesign or tweak this model. I was stunning as is and Bumpboxx would do a great disservice to hardcore collectors by "cheaping" out on fit and finishes. I understand pre-production models will require changes for line production, but they should evaluate what made the project a hit in the first place. Time will tell

Link from Facebook shows early price is now $100 more $649. I suspect it’s at the border of being either “must get”, or “I’ll wait”.

$649? Might just wait for reviews from here, especially with the tweaking of the knob design. Biggest decision before was which color to get since I have a 777 and discolite, I was leaning towards red but the knobs looked dull in a picture I'd seen.

They launched a WhatsApp community / group for the people who paid the $2 prelaunch comission. I assume most of you guys are there? For the rest, here is what I understood: The price stays at $549 for those who paid the $2 on the first prelaunch. And they get the Kickstarter link first. Also the first 1 to 777 models of each colour will be available as Founder's Edition for an extra $99. The Founder's Edition will be individually numbered and have a badge on the 777, the strap and a COA (whatever a COA is). But it will cost you an extra $99.

The 'new' price of $649 is for people who missed the first reservation as Reli stated already. If you missed the first prelaunch you get sent a second mail where you can reserve your model for $649 by paying $10 upfront.

Did I miss anything and did I get everything right?

Also, the knobs are chrome plated on the silver and gold plated on the colour units.
