I've read all the posts about other collectors amazing finds. About rare stereo equipment being sold for pennies or found in a dump. A lot of these stories are hard to believe. Probably because it never happens to me.

You know what I'm gonna say next...

I got one. From an actual barn.

well done man, Proper happy for you, i've owned a few Pc5's over the years apart from Cassette Belt, Woofers usually needing re-foaming and Sometimes the flap on the cassette deck is missing, you don't really get much hassle from these.. Quite a Good reliable Box.
Yes. The only issues I can see ate the speaker foams and some mouse droppings.

Everything works!!

What's really impressive is that nobody beat you to it lol.
I would have bought it whether it works or not . for that price it's hard to lose.
It was in a tiny village WAY in the countryside. I was the first to message about it. I assume not many people could be bothered.

Will the covers go back on over the Kenny's?
They match so well that I'd love to see the original grills back over them.

Unfortunately not. The flexible radius of the foams on the Kenwoods is 3mm wider than the JVCs. I had a good think about it. I would have to trim the grills around the sides. I'd also have to remove the clips on the plastic covers.
