GF-767 Bluetooth conversion this is old Boomdog new tricks
Using some old kit easily covered Boombox to modern bluetooth using LAYEN i-DOCK in old Kensington dock (old ipod) with phono in to GF-767 input
This works a dream and plays Spotify (other music platforms available) through the Boombox. Extremely cheap but most effective.

what is the sound quality? shouldn't the switch on the back be in the "Line In" position?

Sound quality is great, but need to make sure all connections are clean and the input switch too. Otherwise channel may play up

Yep line in is the one to use because the phono input is not attenuated and unless grounded you will get noise and distortion.
