Imported Victor m70

Hello, I just acquired a Victor m70 that was sent to US from Japan.. The FM stations are limited due to the radio originating from Japan. Is there a solution to modifying the radio so I can get more stations. Does anyone know a good shop that can maybe do a overhaul of this vintage boombox? I am new to this forum..Please help me!

I wouldn't mod a Victor, I'd rather look for the JVC version if radio is a problem for you. You could offer to trade yours, for instance.

Why wouldn’t you modify a Victor? Just curious..

You could swap in a tuner board from a US M70, but why tamper with it? It's just going to lose value, and the dial won't match the range anymore.
