WITH ALL THE YEARS OF experience IVE HAD WITH SERVICING BOOMBOXES I REALLY THINK THIS ONE IS OVER RATED IN MY OPINION. IT DOESN'T HAVE A LOT OF GUTS IN IT. ITS JUST THE BIG CASE THAT MAKES IT GOOD LOOKING. WELL I KNOW IM GUNNA GET HAMMERED ON MY OPINION. SO WHAT DO ALL YOU ALL THINK ABOUT IT

i have always said this Si.... and yet there are others asking 7k and more

the most over rated and over priced box is the m70 imho

we collectors made these m************ expensive because of our greed and wanting to have 17 of every f****** box if it wasn't for that they would be affordable and when these were new they were worth every f****** penny.

i think it was the Russians that started this craziness homie about 5 years ago when they somehow flooded ebay with crazy priced everything boombox

I can only say that I love the m90 more than any other Boombox ever made and if I was rich I would pay the crazy money I really would I would buy them all. just remember everyday crazy people pay stupid money for dumb s*** all over the world every day that makes no sense to anybody else.

i would beat you to it lol, i just wish i could get the new 970 sorted, at the moment it sounds worse than an m70/////i don't think anyone wants to help me with a service manual and that blooody sucks.....anyway no other box i have had sounds like an m90 or 970 imho....mind you the conion would sh1t on them both lol

actually to be fair lad if they cost $50 most wouldn't want them just like the m70 when it was $50 nobody wanted it, i have seen this over and over.....i remember buying shed loads of jvc pc55 for about £50, people just didn't want them....the m90 though has been king for many years....one thing i do remember trying to sell a fully working m90 for £250 and nobody wanted it, so what im saying is most unlike us don't care about the boxes homie, they just want to make money out of them which i have always foooking hated....now there so expensive people want them but nobody can afford them which takes the fun out of it for most of us

Yep, just 5-6 years ago I was surprised that people were paying $400 for them, but now people are paying double that!

Truthfully however, something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay. Look at how much the prices of old muscle cars has increased.

That’s a free market for you…as Reli says, something is worth what someone is willing to pay. Supply and demand…they’re the controlling forces. Only way to avoid the inflation this can induce when we can influence neither the supply, by making more, or the demand is for a government to control prices. I think most governments have limited interest in the price of boomboxes lol
Personally I don’t know any collectors who are in it for the money only. If I do sell one and make good money, the cash just goes back into another boombox lol. And if I sell to a mate I sell it for a whole lot less.
But yeh I’m glad I got into this years ago and was able to build up my collection before prices started going through the roof…last year or two has seen them go up a lot

still don't understand why Reli all fun aside, it's one of the most disappointing boxes i have owned in my history of buying boomboxes and yet you see people with multiples of the same box lol, it's not even half of an m90 in sound quality or features....i paid £200 for a fully working one and also had an m75, i felt i may as well have shot myself in the head lol
