A part of a clip on my Aiwa 950 recently failed and I`ve hopefully tracked down a small company that can produce some replacements for me.
I gather the same size clips were used on the 955 .
If any one else is interested in obtaining a replacement (or spares ) please PM me and I can get an idea of how many I can order to help reduce the unit price of the clips.
The company is only a small scale operation at present and has said the main cost is in the designing rather than the production so the more I can order the cheaper each clip will be.
If any Aiwa owners know of additional models that use the same clips please leave details in any replies to the post.
If they are able to produce a decent result then possibly they might be able to help out with other missing knobs/buttons possibly even battery compartment covers etc in the future -fingers crossed.
I`m assuming all the clips are in the standard black glossy finish but if this is not the case please let me know.
The company is fairly busy at the moment so we`re probably talking around November this year before anything is produced.
I have no idea of costs at this stage as I`ve not even posted off the clip for them to assess.
Cheers,
Martin
