Hello from Amsterdam, Netherlands

From the early 80's on (discovering hip hop culture as a kid in a small Dutch town) i loved ghettoblasters. However, besides the basic AKAI i bought from my vacation job, i never got a second machine. Until a year ago and now the collecting fever hits hard. Buying a lot the last weeks. It seems that everybody is cleaning up their attic or barn and a lot of classic stuff is for sale in the Netherlands. So i also bought some shelves for displaying them Hoping to install it this weekend and show it. Together with building up my collection, i would love to connect to the ghettoblaster community. I have no idea if there are more Dutch folks here (i added my place on the google map) but the international setting of boomboxery is great.

Yes, it's a Philips philips D8803 (my favorite Philips ghettoblaster). Bought a ITC Skitronic discolite in great condition today and a Panasonic RX-A2. Also working on some shelves to display my collection. Will share some pictures on sunday

There was/is also another A2 for sale but imo way overpriced. Contacted the owner about pricing but never got a response.
