Hi Guys!

Many of you know I'm in college currently. I am studying the CCC. If you have any family history or anything like that, can you share it with me? If you do, please allow me to quote you. THANKS!!! Holly

What do mean by family history Holly? Or what kind I should say :hmmm:
Well, it's not that plausible that any one of you were in the corps, seeing that it disbanded in 1942, and to be in it you had to be at least 17 years old. So I'm assuming no members of Boomboxery were also members of the CCC. But I can imagine some may have family that were in it and may remember stories.

My uncle was in the CCC in the 1930's when the work first began on developing the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tn. He did a lot of tree clearing, road building etc. They lived in camps within the park while the work was going on. The CCC gave much needed work to many of the local people during the Great Depression.
