Thanks again for all the positive feedback guys
Two things stuck in my mind while i was gathering my boxes together and taking these photos.
1st, i had never really considered before how many of these radios may have been some kids pride and joy on christmas morning OR a teenagers first major purchase with there own earned cash from paperrounds etc OR someone in middleage prehaps buying a more expensive box for there mancave with some disposable income.
How many of these boxes, which i now own, have been in peoples bedrooms, front rooms, workplaces, colleges and of course on the streets.
I really dont think any other collectable items has the history which OUR boxes have.
2nd, and this ones a bit of a downer, it took me a good couple of hours to gather all my boxes, photo, then put all away. Ands thats the thing, PUT AWAY.
I do have very limited space in my house with space for 15-20 boxes in the living room but even so it just seemed wrong shoving all the other radios back into closets, the attic, bedroom, bathroom etc for them not to be seen or used till...whenever.
Dont get me wrong, this not a dig at anyone with loads of boxes in cupboards etc, this is purely a personal thing and about the space i have to enjoy my radios.
So, im either going to have to build a big boomroom in the garden so i can really enjoy them (plus have a cool mancave)

or cut my collection by maybe 50% so the ones left actually get some use (and daylight)
