If a 3d printed 2 sided. Mold could be made you could use polyurethane as the actual surround material. -

Also the power button is easy to break when disassembling and reassembly .

Like Eddy said, you can try working the switches to see if it gets better. Either way, it's a good idea to clean all of them.
