hey guys, i found this baby at friendly, neighborhood , value village. The thing is in pretty good condition with the exception of the battery compartment. For a boombox, the quality is not that bad...here are some pics to look at

That's an outstanding find for $5.99. :thumbsup:
The sticker on it says 12/18/2009, if you just found it that means it's been on the shelf for an entire month. That wouldn't last an hour on the shelf at my local thrifts. :nonono:

And It wouldn't last 3 minutes past store opening at my thrift stores.
I would've been all over it like graphics on a Lasonic.

Wouldn't last longer than 10 seconds at any of our thrift stores, either... but it wouldn't be me who got it. IT NEVER IS! It's always the guy who came through the door ahead of me, ran to the electronics department, and snapped it up while I was still in the sweat shirt aisle. As they say, if it weren't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all!

P.S. Be on the lookout for aka's: Realistic SCR-6, GE 3-5286A and Universum CTR-2312. The only thing better than one is a whole family of 'em!

for a boombox like this one, not bad...it sounds bassy on low volumes when you put on the loudness switch...the highs are good for low to high volumes...it has speaker outputs and haven''t hooked up speakers to it yet but at .3 amps or 36 watt power consumption, I''m sure it can put out the external speakers pretty good
