I got one too
they sound not too bad with some bass kick in there
you can set it up to play through all three decks
by using the pause buttons

Never understood about having three decks on one Boomer :hmmm:

(1) I have read that longer might be better but never personally heard that.

or

(2) One to Sing (play). One to Listen (record). And one to Watch the performance (the idle one).

Assuming the same Yorx electronix cheap out as the AM/FM dual cassette turntable I used to have in the 80s, the two player decks could be played simultaniously, allowing some tape mixing in your mix tapes.

I've got the black Schneider aka of this box...I think the only purpose of the 3 decks is that they'll play one after the other so you if you're using C90's you can get two hours fifteen minutes of music without pressing a button! I just like it because its completely bonkers :)

Why stop at C90s though but? I used to use C180s in my GF-555 back in the day and sometimes, it would play the whole of one side of the first one before snapping the second a few minutes after the mechanism clunked its way over to deck two. If I tried that with it now, it would almost certainly make a call to its union rep and have me banned from owning any more classic boomboxes for ever.

I do love the look of these long boxes with their three decks, they look like some bizarre sort of radio-sausage hybrid.

Be better if they all had progressive auto reverse....270mins of continous tunes on a 3 90min tapes. Batteries would probably become an issue though :dj:
