I don't own any of the black boxes (except a couple of modern 3-pc units bought from the thrift stores). However, on occassion, these do intrigue me just long enough for me to think back at all the times I've read where owners call their own beloved black boxes POS's, quickly snapping me out of my daze and come to my senses. For the few that I have followed, this one certainly seem kind of high priced but then again, the huge fight over s2g's sean's box suprised me too.

its ebay how do you even know if its a real auction or not.
i mean theres no knowing if its someone bidding against themselves with the hope someone lacking knowledge with a extremely strong desire to join the club shows up in the final moments of the auction.
theres no way of knowing what is real and what is not in a lot of cases.
its could have sold for that much.
they are cool looking radios for sure.
hats off to the guy with enough money to plunk down if its real and hats off to the seller if its legit.
