Cool article, though. Gotta admit this... I got a Sony like the "modern" one pictured toward the bottom of the page. My step dad found it in a thrift store and bought it for me. It looks like a$$ but sounds pretty good. It lives on the back patio.

And to my TRC-920 brother...you are right. The white kids had 'em too. It's just that Depeche Mode, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Dokken or Twisted Sister was pumping out of them versus Run-DMC in the 'burbs.
