to meet up with her kung fu team --
who were invited to meet jackie chan in miami beach --

turns out - jackies brand new movie --the next "karate kid "
has wiil smiths son , jaden --as the star

AND --wifey and her 'gang' got to hang out with will all day

Besides yet another Hollywood remake, the one thing that will keep me from wasting money on this movie is the fact that Jackie Chan teaches kung fu to the kid. Kung fu is NOT karate.

It should be called the Kung Fu Kid.

I watched 7 Pounds again last night, good movie but kind of sad and depressing.

Finaly somebody understands! Thats what I've been saying since I saw the preveiw. It's so not even close.
If they want karate they should have had Sonny Chiba be the teacher. that would be cool. but Jackie?

I loved watching "The Karate Kid" in the movie theatre when it came out,I saw it with my girl Jennifer back in the day & we were quite impaired!! I really liked this movie because I was close to someone I loved!
