ok -- now see-it never takes much to convince old folks to tell stories
in fact -we have some old(er) neighbors --
that we have to avoid sometimes -- cuz their stories are soooooooo looooooooong :annoyed:
they are about WW2 or
mostly --these guys are old fisherman -
and they do have some wonderful ship-wrecked//rescue tales to tell

so ...about me and dmfu ::::
back in recent times
--and when ebay was still using names --instead of codes
i was losing about 90% of my box bids - in the last few seconds to 3 s2g members::
baby boomer, lopez and dm4u
and about 75% of those losses went to the d-dork
losing NEVER bothered me -
as long as we dont chicken -out-
and give a box our best $ shot --
'its all good'
anyway -- i figured all these guys had great big collections -- thats admirable

then -- dm4u 'got active' with his s2g posts
and published his first you-tube video
you guys must remember -- it was a total riot -- boxes everywhere
most shocking in his video --was that he had many DOZENS of boxes from ebay
that he NEVER even opened !!!!!!!!!
he said "they were so well packed"
how COOL was that ???
like we all use/overuse the word 'cool' alot
and --aside from temperature
to me -
cool means NOT NERVOUS (right)??
so --this dude is so cool --that he even lets the ebay 90 day 'file-a-claim'
period run out
most of us --cant even wait 15 seconds to open up a carton -we have supreme curiosity
about everything --
is it smashed // does it work/ hows it sound ???????
phone jack ,etcetcetc -- you know how it is!!

right after that --i was so amazed -
that i started an s2g thread --all about dm4u
"the worlds coolest member"
-----------------be back shortly
shortly after that -
-he sent me a PM to introduce himself -
-and
about a BIN $400 box i had on ebay-
it was the gigantic panny rx-6400
( great box -- but i didnt NEED 2 of them)
he asked me for the 'inside member 'price-
and for 2 weeks 'till his next pay period-
since he was "dead broke"
at that time -- i still thought he was 'cool' :'

i said IF it was a DONE DEAL --i would end the auction-
sell it for 350 and wait 2 weeks- he said "deal"
that same night he wiped me out of TWO ebay grails
:'-(
and during the looooong 2 weeks - i saw him hit about $1000 worth
of BINS --with
IMMEDIATE PAYPAL PAYMENT REQUIRED !!!!!
so much for his 'broke act'
i asked him for a little $50 deposit -
heard back NEVER !!!
re-listed the panny-
so now i know hes a friggen liar

soon after that --
i was on PM --'doin a deal' with vladi-
and i asked vladi about his mint tosh WX-1 ??
he said that local 'buddy' texan - dm4u
had made the deal on it --
but asked him to "hold it for his next pay period"
a day or so later --we both watched him hit a BIN
for the identical WX-1 from a chinese ebay seller
WTF ???
and with the s/h -- he paid MORE $$ than local vladi had SOLD
it to him for
he NEVER contacted valdi to cancel his FIRM deal
what an ahole!!!!!!

he got overly aggressive with his ebay bids -
and worse -- he 'screwed on purpose'
EVERY member who posted on s2g about an ebay box they wanted :annoyed:
the guy was a horror show

by then --i had already put him on my ebay 'forbidden bidder' list
and wanted nothing to do with that liar-
except
--i went back on s2g to locate the buried 'worlds coolest member' thread
and changed the title --
to more appropriately--
" THE MEMBER"

the funny part of this story --coming very soon

and also to admit a mistake -
it was by now obvious to EVERY MEMBER that he was not cool at all---
instead he was the world biggest asssshole

he writes THOUSANDS of incoherent words -- make zero points -

he was totally devastated ----and BALLISTIC about

the guy has psycho killer written all over his face in flashing red ink.
i mean dont get me wrong i say live and let live, in this case tho i think i will side with the paul macartney play on that phrase.
i dont know i have come across his you tube videos and frankly the guy has a film of creep all over him.
i mean right from the first time i read why he chose the moniker he has i felt the taste of vomit in my mouth slightly.
i mean if the guy was on fire outside my doorstep i would not piss on him to put him out.

i remember two times where someone gave me the creepys like that.
once was when farmer willy came in to the store.
i remember telling my manager at the time i could not deal with the guy. that he actually made me physically ill to just look at him.
my manager thought i was nuts. so did the other staff.
when he was arrested and charged in the now infamous murders of dozens of women in vancouver they did not think i was too nuts anymore.
so yeah i do believe in gut feelings and well thats a case of my gut being soured right off the bat.
i had the dude blocked from right around when i read his explanation of his name.
i dont think we should even mention this guys name anymore. i mean chances are it is of little or no consequences but who is to say he isnt going to scope this out sometime then decide to get in his bus and drive through someones house in a boombox rage.
