It's nice to hear you have the collecting bug and, if I may ask, would you be so kind as to post some pics of your (almost) invisible cool shelving, please?

Thx. It cost me a lot of time and money to get them working as they did 40 years ago. But I´m happy! Now I´m recording tons of tapes with my decks and feed them daily with them. All around me want me to consult a psychologist:)

Those are some of the nicest sounding boomboxes ever. Those Aiwas and Sanyos sound like warm, golden honey!

Yep.... What I want to do now is to get the US/EURO version and the JAP versions of the JVCs , Aiwas and Sanyos. I got it done with the RC-M70 and the 880/J88. And if luck strikes... a Victor / JVC RC-M90.
Fatdog thx for having boomboxery.com

Here some shelf details:

Impressive collection and display!

Are those shelves attached to the studs or just into the drywall? Those boxes can be deceptively heavy and pose a real challenge for some free floating shelves

Fantastic collection, you certainly have a thing for Aiwas. I have one or two of the boxes you have and fully appreciate the road you are travelling

From a yardsale. It was given to dealers to promote the BASF chrome tapes in the 80ies.

Very nice collection. I'm blown away,no small fries there. Only quality boxes. I think with your good taste a Panasonic rx-5350 would fit nicely into your collection. Keep up the great work on your boom room.👍👍
