Googlebot is the search bot software used by Google, which collects documents from the web to build a searchable index for the Google search engine.

Hi everyone-Leave the Google Bots alone-They're just gathering information on your site.There is nothing wrong with this-it makes it visable for people and gives info.
Google Bots and other bots are o.k..
Just thought I'd let you know.

All the major search engines and some others have "accounts" here. That way, they can come on and scope out the place and start indexing our posts in their search engines. Sort of like Skynet.
