Inspired by SpaceBoy's post below.

This poll is for what you think is the most saught after box based on what you've seen happen while collecting, moreso than your individually most saught after box, which could be anything.

Please post your Other, if you choose Other. There's only 10 options available in a poll so I was forced to miss some other obvious ones.

I have most on this poll. Another set of radios on my radar would be the Panny 5350 JVC 550 "El Diablo" again. Silver SR8800, Dynasty Wheelie. All the biggies please.

I'm pretty sure the Panasonic 5030 is very low on the "most sought after" list.

Honestly, I think it's the M70.
The M90 has critics who say they're ugly or boring-looking.
But everyone seems to say the M70 is a "must have"

So that'd be my vote

As for the C-100 and GF777..... nope........I have heard several people criticize those

As for the Bombeat 40........It isn't well-known enough to be the most sought-after.........I bet half the members have never heard of it

Disco Light? No way.......too focused on style only, no substance

I Am Legend
i voted for the m90-

and if it came with the jvc factory remote --
that would be the absolute #1 dreambox

( i think ) ?? :-D

Ok, in my haste to get this up i put in 5030 instead of 5350. I'm notorious for getting RX model numbers the wrong way round.

It's this one for those wondering what model it is.

Idk I mean the m90 might have a few detractors. As for it being boring some may think so. For me the m90 was kind of the first. Really big powerful portable. I think it is the iconic blaster and it seems to be one of those things in culture that changed everything. When I see the big conion that came a few years after although it looks different to me it still pays tribute to the m90 .i know it's not the first Boombox but I kind of think it was the first one big enough to piss off your neighbors .
I remember this spinster who my dad did a bunch of work for back in the very early 80s had a m90.it completely stunned me the first time I laid eyes on it. Honestly I can't think of too many pieces of technology that have dropped my jaw seeing them for the first time. A massively loud portable stereo with chrome all over it was pretty much as cool as it got back then. The next day I was off to the store to see how much they were  ;-) I worked a paper route for a long time by the time I had enough cash the m70 was out but, I decided to buy a Atari pinball game and a Walkman.

I agree with Reli on all of his list, almost.
Except i still think it is the M90 over the M70 only because the M70 is
more readily available and many of us already have one therefore leaving the M90
to continue to be the most sort after.
Besides,
regardless of rarity (Bombeat 40)
desirability (5350)
coolness (Discolite)

isn't the M90 the 'must have', the 'Grandaddy', the Top Shelf',the 'Holiest of Grails' ???
thats how i have always seen it being mentioned.

so my vote is of course the Vinix.............. crap, i mean M90 !

The m70 ant that good compared to my 777 or c100 so I will now be one to critique the m70 and favor the 777 and c100  :grim:
What I think Rick is wanting is if money is no object and all boxes are available what do you want
Because the boom beat is a want because of rarity and not quality the m90 because of quality the gf777 because it's the most famous the big Ben because we have not seen one and the list goes on
I don't desire the c100 because I have one but out of all those boxes I like it the most same as the 5350
(witch we new what you were saying Rick so no problem there mate)
So Can your most sort after be one you have
Most probable not as you have it there for your not sorting after it
If you vote gf777 or m90 and have it then your answer mite be wrong
I love ranting on
