Here it is!! The 1970' Craig lay-down style
Boombox!!
This baby is mint!! Only used like 5 times,still
Has the original wrapping on the handle!! :drool: :thumbsup:
My sister got one of these new in 70' and then
my brother had it from like 75'-76'.
Then I got it In 76'!! My first Boombox!!:)
Hope you like it!:)
The original one I had got worn out and unfortunately
don't know whatever became if it.

Oh yeah, my folks had a cassette tape player / recorder like this. I "Borrowed" that allot! :yes:

It was a JVC. Can't remember model number :sadno: But it was about 40 years ago. It was a pretty amazing boombox.

This is my first post and I am engrossing myself in a whole new world.

I'm now enjoying a Panasonic RX-DT75. Perhaps not retro enough but I like the sound and "cobra-like" look when it opens up!

Started at 13 with a GE mono in 1974. First real boombox was a Sencor soon after.

But my Sharp GF-9090 was the one that traveled Europe with me as a teenager. :beer2: :weed: :dj: :stereo:

Ah, the memories...never could let go of my Sharp. Found stereo2go and realized I could get it fixed (new belts & playback head.)

Like everyone else, the spiral into madness came next. :lol:
