Well, i haven't been on here for a while as I have had my boxes packed up for the last 7 months as i have been in the process of moving house.
After finally getting into the new place and getting all the boxes unpacked over a number of weeks, my mind turned to where i could display my VZ's.
After much thought, I finally decided to install a new shelf and put it up on the wall in the kitchen. I also, months after buying it, finally got around to putting the label i purchased from Fatdog on it. I reckon it looks the bees knees!

So far i haven't found a place for the VZ2000. I decided to put the 2500 on this shelf as it is quite high up, and with the function buttons on the front, rather than on the top as with the 2000, it made sense to go this way.

It was also great to log on again and see that Alfie just scored a VZ on the street!

Below are some pics. Cheers, Jeremy.

Good to see you back Jeremy!
Looks like an early Faces LP, can't recognize Rod Stewarts mug on the cover

Thanks Alfie.

It's the second album by the Small Faces, which came out in 1967. 3 of them went on to form The Faces with Rod Stewart after they parted ways with the singer in the Small Faces.

:-O Looks great!

Can those shelves hold the beauty and weight of that BEAST? :w00t: :w00t:

That is a big concern!. I wouldn't want to come home and find it and shelf laying smashed on the floor. If you look at the photo you will see a Twinings tea tin sitting on top of the Meat Safe (these were used to store meat and keep flies out before fridges arrived). The shelf actually rests on that tin, therefore taking most of the weight of the 2500. The 2500 is also 2 kg's lighter than the 2000, so that's another good reason to have the 2500 up there.

And regarding Fatdogs labels, i wholeheartedly agree that they make a box look even more impressive. The great thing about this label is that it hides some of the scratch marks on the plastic cover as well. Fatdog does a great service with these labels.

Cheers, Jeremy.
