Just received a VZ-3000 from Jameswp67 super packaging as always ,it needed some work but nothing major- great sounding unit now fully working with matching speakers she spins vinyl both sides no flipping the album . It`s technically not a boombox doesn`t take batteries and no handle to carry around.
Checking the local classifieds here in Hannon (near Hamilton Ontario) Saw a Sharp VZ-3500 for $20 ! Picked it up today - no speakers , aluminum flip down door hiding the bass treble balance controls was missing - seller put new 2 new stylii since there are 2 tonearms like the VZ-3000 , and a new belt on the turntable . The cassette still needed belts so installed them lubed here up and voila, a great system for the garage to use with my Pentron 5`s - Check in the other audio section here for a few pics of the Pentron 5`s and a little about them.. meantime, here`s a few pics of the 3000 and 3500 ..the 3500 is the one alone, then on top of the 3000 ..25 watts rms per channel each unit , nicely matched to the original speakers..
