VZ 2000 Balance slider - am I doing this right?

Opened the balance slider and it fell apart. The 'springy' contact had separated from the carrier, I've epoxied it back on - is it in the right place?

You are missing one, should be 2 feelers.

Thank you. I've just found the other feeler in bits . Any ideas to get it going again?
