For the few bucks the seller wants I'd say you should definitely go for it ;-)
I haven't seen/heard one but you can't really go wrong with the Sony FH series. I am very sure it has line-in.

Line in is right on the front I think. Fh series are some of the best sounding radios ever. I have three of them and they are the blasters that sound the most like a small home stereo for me.

The Sony FH series is at the very top of the multi piece boombox food chain. You will not find a more powerful or better sounding series. I would go get it...FAST. You will love the sound of that beast...

I went to look at the Sony FH-30 today and it was in bad condition..
Chipped corners, dents and scratches were present all over, so I passed on it.

If she is in working condition, you should grab it for that price.
I want it to be in good (great) shape.. and I will pay for a good one.

20$ is like for free if it's fully working. Give it a little love and see how much you can restore. Maybe someone here got parts? Maybe you'll come across another cheap one that doesn't work so you can put together one super nice and fully working one. In the end it's your choice and it depends on how badly beaten it really is. But as a collector you won't come around picking up boxes in rather bad condition. Often trying to restore pays out  You might end up even happier than having a mint one from the beginning. Might save a lot of $$ too

Everything works on it... but the speaker corners have chipping and the top is scratched up.

Your right you should pass on it and wait for a mint condition on
For $400
The speakers are worth $20
Sorry mate your talking o people who believe you can save every boombox and rehome them all
Even the chock shed is better than the tip

Orwell let someone else know we're it is if you don't want it
:breakdance:
