Vela discolite questions

Hi, I just got a Vela Discolite. The guy was selling it for 10 euros and I offered him fifty so he could take the trouble to make a package. I would probably have questions to ask. For the moment, I have changed the belts. There is a lot of dust behind the grates and they would need to be repainted.
1) Do these grids have removable?
2) What is the color of the keys of the players and the knob of radio: I have the impression that it is golden but there is so much nicotine and wear, I am not sure.

I'm in the process of restoring my son's Discolite. The grills can be removed, but it's not the most fun job to do. What we did on ours, was we took the speakers out, cleaned everything up nicely, and then painted the grills with a small foam edging roller while they were still attached to the box. It worked pretty well and they look decent. Yes, all the knobs, keys, controls are gold in color. Even the antenna on ours is gold.
