I totally forgot I checked this ad out over a week ago, didn't pay it much attention because I didn't want to pay $200 for it.. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ram/ele/3130997627.html
Then I end up scoring mine out of the blue!!
CRAZY!!
and the pc 11 , that one is like the darth vader pc 11 .
the pc 11 is one of the best sounding 3 piecers for classical and certain types of mellow music , the most under rated and over looked box ever :'-( . the sound is kinda dry but the detail is efin great and loud too.
I have one of these radios and it is very nice. When I got mine it also had the problem that one speaker was a lot louder then the other. I replaced all of the wires on the back, and that fixed it.
Also I do have a question about the music search. I use the tape deck on mine all of the time, but the music search button does not seem to do any thing. Do you know what exactly its supposed to do?
The music search might only work on pre-recorded cassettes, not mixtapes? When the tape is playing you can press FFWD and it will go to the next song automatically then start playing..
Make sure that the Music Search is "on". Then, with the Play button still engaged, press FF or RW to skip a song or go back to the beginning of a song. Songs need about two seconds of space between them for it to work (most of the time).
Although the Vector is a close relative of the JVC PC-11, the Vector will stomp the JVC into the ground, spit on it, and then walk away with JVC's girlfriend.
