US members (ideally New York), I need shipping help pls!

Hello,
I just lost a nice Crown SZ-5100 on Ebay Germany and was feeling gutted. I decided to look for another one or similar and went to Ebay US.
I searched Lasonic just because, and up pops a TRC-931 1st edition with just 4 min left and a current bid of $ 60 !!
I looked closer and it looked intact and working, only missing a few buttons, but whoa, seller's got no rating. Hmm .
Well what the ****, if it turns out to be legit, it could be the best deal I ever make! I imagine this is the way people who buy the GF-777 etc. from China think as well .
So I went for it and won with $ 200. Haven't payed yet though .

Now to the problem.
He doesn't ship to Europe, and I wouldn't trust him to do it even if he did ship!
So, I am wondering if anyone, ideally in New York, could swing by his place, pick it up, pack it good and ship it to the UK ?
I will of course reinburse you for all shipping costs, travel costs and effort. Or strike a deal in some other way.
And this would of course make me available for striking Europe deals and have them sent to the US by me.

I just messaged him, and if he replies with a legit email and a non-robotic syntax I might be very lucky!
If not, I can at least say I got scammed for a very hot box !

He did reply quickly with a good picture of the box and the finished auction page, so it very much looks like he's got it. . But Badboybill is right, he does not live in NYC but upstate New York by Syracuse... . I misread it and it's gonna cost me a bit more, but hey I can't chicken out now . So either he will send it to NYC or I will try to get him to go there with it and you can arrange a meeting where you want to Jboogie. I'll message you his email details.
