Well i don't know anything about this box, but i wouldn't buy it. Just because i dont like how it looks.

But if YOU like it, buy it! ;-)

i dont mind the look because it has alot of mesh space i can paint on but as for that classic look of a boombox i agree its not to box like and more curvy but person is asking 30$ and at that price its worth a go i think for an obscure boombox
i tried searching for it online and found nothing at all so i thought id bring it to the boomboxery table
what i would like to know tho if its a large box or not the speakers do no detach its a 1 piece unit

I agree it doesn't have the classic look so I would probably pass on it but it is unusual and not common so for $30, well go ahead and try and grab it for 20-25 :D

The super woofer for looks like a standard 4x6 car speaker if that's the case it be real easy to upgrade for more powerful sound. Some of these type boxes are a lot less maintenance easier to work on and overall more reliable and if it breaks don't really lose any sleep over it.

And really at the end of the day if it weren't for these affordable boxes where the hell would a poor person be if they wanted something to listen to.

The thing is I'd rather play cassettes off something like this at home than use my good boxes those are for taking out and I agree with you I wonder what the size on it is I asked the seller and he hasn't got back to me yet I'm assuming it's not a tiny box I'm just hoping it's large I plan on painting something on the speaker covers I figure it be the perfect box to paint as I can't bring myself to paint my prized boxes

Judging from the size of the speakers compared to the size of the cassette decks, it looks like a smaller size box for sure. Get em down to $20 or $15 and crank some tapes ;-)

got it for 15 with a rare red prosonic also for 15 and both function nice the prosonic was the real score tho but both for 15 I was happy
