Hi all, I would like to share some pics of the two boxes I picked last week.
The mono box, named TPR-101, released in March 1968 was Aiwa's first radio cassette and among the very first boomboxes made in Japan. It is the first mono box in my collection, too.
The stereo box, name Jeagam JR-8200 is quite rare boombox from Mitsubishi. That one sounds amazing for its size. The component and design are top quality, but the plastic case is very thin and fragile. I love the look and sound of this one.
Bonus is a picture of my Aiwa CS-80 (domestic version of TPR-955). I brought this one from Campuchia myself two years ago, but lend it to a friend ever since and just only got it back last week.
Enjoy the boxes and have a good week. Thanks.
